Buildings and walkways

I love buildings, railings and brick walls for backgrounds. And this little one was a fabulous model!

And all was well for the recovery of a $600 light, still where I left it after 40 minutes in a public walkway. How about that?

The weather gets the thumbs up!

Although we did fight some wind on this session, but my model didn't care, she just wanted to be photographed.

5 year old E!

E was a really fun girl! She wasn't shy at all and loved the hour we spent together. It's been fun shooting some of these images in the urban landscape with textures and color. It's one my favorite looks.

A store in Naperville

2 nights ago, I went to downtown Naperville to photograph some models and clothing for Shannon at a store called The Unique Bowtique. This is an awesome place with awesome kid's stuff. I'll write more about this establishment soon, but for now, take a peak at a sample of her summer line on some really fun models.

Something moving

I love video almost as much as I love still photography. So in just a few weeks, I'm going to do a film on friendship. It's only going to be about 3 minutes long, but I'm excited to be working on it! So stay tuned and we'll see if I can get this idea out of my head into reality.

The end of these sessions

Here are the last few images from this look in my studio. I am always working on new ideas so the next studio work should look a little different. And I'm so excited about finding some willing 5 and 6 year olds to do some outdoor testing with me. I'm looking forward to it! And if you have a chance today, stop by my friends website, Peggy. I'm not sure when, but I am going to produce another short video about friendship. My 9 year old is all about friends and has established some good relationships and I would love to try to capture that feeling. It's always more work than I think it will be but I don't care, I'm doing it anyway. I always learn something along the way and I love doing it!
